SALES ZONE OPTIMIZATION – FMCG

QUESTION:

“How can I do distribution to 10,000 sales points across London with 50 field operations staff per day?”

SOLUTION:

1. Within the scope of the project, which covers more than 10,000 traditional channel sales points across the UK, it was aimed to reduce field operation costs and to carry out operations with optimum efficiency.

2. It was aimed to increase the productivity of the field officers who undertake the daily distribution while working. Sales points were allocated on the basis of the maximum distance determined according to the home addresses of the employees.

3. Contribution was made to the recruitment processes of new field officers by making use of location-based analysis. The number of sales points per site has been optimized.

RESULT:

Thanks to the project, 15% savings were achieved in Unilever field team costs.
